Really sad that some players are PRO cs, go play cs instead and leave the action to qw.

maybe you should enlighten us gamer.. what does competition mean?
#6 jogihoogi (80.131.57.xxx) 2004-06-26 15:12:23
it means having sr spawns and winning by using rj-scripts, thats of course what the majority means and is definatly not my opinion.

Competition means for me that the players who sign up try their best to win the tournament. if camping means winning then so be it. I dont get people who sign up and then whine when other people try to win. Thats just stupid. I understand that many players love to play fast paced rush duels for fun but you can't expect others to do the same in duelmania matches. Maybe think twice about signing up if you get so frustrated when the opponent doesn't give freefrags? Sorry about my whining im just getting so annoyed by this cs whine so i had to do some counter whine. jogi stalker!

you cannot force other players how they have to play and how they have to see a game.
another point is that this is a really big online tourney, so i dont wonder that some players wanna win at all costs in the borders of the gamerules.
if one player dont want to take a match serious its ok. but another can take it serious and its also cool, thats the freedom of everybody cause its only a game and you dont touch the others freedom with your playstyle. --- competition in a game is for me that my enemy player gives his best in the game within the gamerules and i do the same.---my opinion for the scripts is that whithout them it would be cooler because most of them you can train, and its more programming then skill then. i would say to get rid of them with a server variable or the next fuhquake versions. is there anybody who really dont like qw the same without scripts ?!?

Yes, those that complain about "cs" !!

just to add my point of view:
I'm totally with gamer in this discussion. The tourney is there to tell who plays better (is the best) - which means whose aim, tactics and mapknowledge is better. Those factors and of course a little luck are all equal in a tourney.
+Forward games are usually all aim and a little mapknowledge + luck, which means the games are usually "fun" (no annoying situations for the offensive player), but you can't tell who is really the better player after playing like that. To determine whose aim is better in 1on1 situation you should look out for a dmm4 tourney.
In my case here, IBA had clearly the better aim on dm4, so I couldn't rush to win the game. What should I do other than use tactical moves to win the game?
On Aerowalk I was all-offense because I knew I had an advantage there and the cs factor isnt that big there anyway.
Every map and player requires different play-styles and I always choose the style to win the game, no matter what I have to do to win. I never thought that serious games aren't fun because of the cs factor, in my opinion the tactical aspects make the game more interesting and the competition is always great fun.
Well, don't take that discussion too serious, it's worth- and endless anyway. over and out!

was just defending his right to voice his opinion, after all, you can see "comment by IBA" right up there.. if he thinks serious play is sad who are we to say he can't think that? maybe competition means just fun games for him.. you are becoming a true paradoks gamer, dictating everyones opinions! (läppäläppä loool check this out) .........

door and watching tv when u have to pay ur online time per minute. only want some fun. chances to get really further in this tournament rnt there. whether for me or shamby. now stop this shit
